Contrast is how much text stands out from what is behind it, measured with the WCAG formula from 1:1 (the same color) to 21:1 (black on white). Body text needs at least 4.5:1 (AA); 7:1 is AAA. Pick a color pair or drag the shade, and switch light and dark mode to see both.

01Our standard

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the W3C. We keep accessibility in mind when we design, build and update the site.

02What we do

  • Pages use clear headings, landmarks and labels for screen readers.
  • Drawings and images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Links, buttons and form fields work with a keyboard and show a visible focus outline.
  • Pages can be zoomed, and they adapt to phones, tablets and computers.
  • Light and dark modes follow your device, with a switch to change them.
  • Animations hold still when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The round accessibility button at the bottom right lets you change text size, contrast and more.

Some parts of the site come from other companies: Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form, the accessibility tool, and our Instagram page. Their accessibility is in their hands.
